To attach an existing data-type to a plan, so that all users signed up to that plan may be given a value for that data-type, first you need to navigate to the ‘Edit – Update Plan’ page for the plan to which you want to add the service-data.
To get there, first use the ‘Products’ link in the upper navigation bar to get to the main bundles list, then click the name of the bundle that the plan is attached to, and finally click on the name of the plan.
Once you are on this page, you can click on the ‘Add Service Data’ button, which will bring up the ‘New Service Data’ page. Here there is a drop-down list showing all the existing kinds of service-data. (The kinds which your Jet installation has defined currently). You can attach one of these to the plan you are working on by selecting it from this drop down, and then clicking on the ‘Add Service Data’ button.

At the bottom of this page is a list of the service-data types which are currently attached to this plan. To remove one of them, place a tick in the check box in the ‘Remove?’ column, and then click on the ‘Update Plan Details’ button.

Although you cannot create or delete kinds of service data using the plan-manager tool, you can use the plan-manager tool to attach an existing type of service-data to an existing plan.
Once you have done this, it will be possible to give all users who are subscribed to this plan, (or who subscribe to it in future), a value for this kind of data. This topic is discussed more fully in the Jet User-Manual, in the section titled “Adding Service Data to a Plan”. However there is also a brief summary of how to do this below.
