User Area Tools – User Hierarchy

This tool will allow you to set a ‘parent’ account for a selected user. A parent account is typically used in a hierarchical organisation such as a university where users are assigned to cost centres or as a subset of other accounts or objects.

A parent account will have administration rights over the accounts below it in the Hierarchy.

You would use this tool when creating accounts for a conference or for purposes where a user would need to have administration rights over a group of accounts.
